Guacamole™ System Requirements

Guacamole™ is designed to run efficiently on modern Windows devices, including Intel® AI PCs, while maintaining high standards for privacy, performance, and reliability.

Supported Operating Systems

  • Windows 11 (64-bit) — Recommended
  • Windows 10 (64-bit, version 21H2 or later)

Hardware Requirements

Processor (CPU)

  • Intel® Core™ i5 8th generation or newer (recommended: 11th gen+)
  • AMD Ryzen 5 or equivalent

For optimal performance on AI workloads: Intel® Core™ Ultra processors with NPU support are recommended.

Memory (RAM)

  • Minimum: 8 GB
  • Recommended: 16 GB+

Storage

  • Minimum: 500 MB free disk space
  • Recommended: 1 GB+ for logs and updates

Camera

Required for authentication.

  • Front-facing RGB camera (minimum 720p)
  • 1080p camera recommended
  • Depth/IR camera supported for enhanced anti-spoofing

GPU (Optional but Recommended)

  • Integrated Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics or better
  • Discrete GPU not required but can improve performance in multi-app environments

AI & Performance Optimization

Guacamole™ benefits from:

  • No raw facial images are stored in the cloud
